206/365, July 25, 2009Hilton, NY -- The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touched down in parts of Hilton Saturday night. This is the first tornado to touch down in Monroe County in 28 years.
We were all at a family gathering when we heard of bad storms and tornado warnings coming our way. We left the party and headed home. After the storm passed we headed out to camp and saw some trees down and water-covered roads.
